Georgia Sutherland

Founder & Director

Glo Day Spa & Salon is the vision and inspiration of the founder and director Georgia Sutherland. Georgia is a passionate leader and innovator in the Spa. Salon & Wellness industry in Bali and globally since 1998. Her expertise includes an instinct for recruiting incredible talent within Indonesia, Australia, Europe and beyond. There are currently four Glo outlets in the island – the first of which opened July 2005. Georgia has a depth of spa industry knowledge and experience rivaled by very few. She is an expert operator and is accustomed to working with luxury brands and has developed a great appreciation of guests specific needs and expectations.Georgia’s passion for the industry is tangible and her energy contagious!

Random Fact : Georgia started the label Tallulah Poppy being the middle names of her two girls.

Rupi

Manager & Bridal Coordinator

Rupi is a seasoned spa professional having worked in the industry for over fifteen years. Rupi joined Glo more than ten years ago. She is business focused, passionate about her guests, keeps the clients of Glo inspired and always makes them feel welcome. Brides love her! And the salon couldn’t function without her!

Random Fact : She has never had short hair!

SEIJA

Senior Stylist

A native of Finland, Seija graduated from hairdressing school in 2002 and worked as a hair stylist for more than ten years before relocating to Bali. Seija moved to Bali in 2013 and joined the Glo Team in 2017. She loves working with blondes and specialises in bridal up styles, French braiding, weaving extension, hair colouring and balayage techniques. Whether you are looking for sultry highlights, a romantic up-do, or an effortless boho hairdo, Seija will certainly deliver.

Random Fact : She has two beautiful Balinese-Finnish children.

RINI

Make Up Artist

Rini is a seasoned professional makeup artist that has been working for Glo since 2010. She has literally had the pleasure of beautifying literally hundreds of Brides from all over the world. She has considerable experience with all different types of skin tones and ethnicities. Gorgeous skin, glam play with smokey eye, flawless blending and shadowing are her specialties. She has a sharp eye and understands the tricks to create picture perfect makeup in full daylight or evenings.

Random fact : Beside chocolate, her guilty pleasure is watching Japanese cartoons.

AGUS

Stylist & Make Up Artist

With ten years’ experience in the hair industry, Agus specializes in men haircuts, hair extensions, French braiding, hair colouring and event up-dos. He has advanced men’s cutting training, as well as colour training with L’Oréal group. He takes great pride in making his guests look their very best and leave feeling great about their hair!

Random Fact : He can do drag queen hair and make up!

JEJE

Jeje joined the Glo family in 2022 and brings over 15 years of experience in the hair industry. He is highly skilled in balayage and hair extensions, with a strong passion for creating beautifully blended colors and seamless, natural-looking extensions. Known for his friendly and smiley personality, Jeje instantly puts his guests at ease and ensures every visit feels enjoyable and comfortable.

In addition to his main expertise, Jeje is versatile across all hair services, allowing him to tailor each treatment to suit each guest’s individual needs. He particularly enjoys working on hair extensions and color services, where his attention to detail and creative touch truly shine

YONI

Yoni joined the Glo family in 2022 and has been in the hair industry since 1994, bringing decades of experience and expertise to every service. He specializes in haircuts, restyle haircuts, coloring, and perming, and is known for his precision, strong attention to detail, and perfectionist approach.

Yoni is highly communicative with his clients, always taking the time to explain what works best for their hair and lifestyle. Versatile across all hair services, he particularly enjoys haircuts and color treatments, where his technical skills and experience truly stand out.

Fun fact: Known as a perfectionist, Yoni loves fine-tuning a haircut right down to the last strand.

ATIK

Atik joined the Glo family in 2013. She has been praised on her skills in Braizilian & Manzilian waxing. Beside her talent in a Balinese massage, she has a strong passion as a nail technician which is demonstrated in her caring professionalism and her desire to ensure her nail guests leave as relaxed and refreshed as her massage guests and with divinely beautiful manicures and pedicures. She particularly enjoys performing the Bio Sculpture gel extension and french manicure. In addition to beauty care, she also excels with threading & lash extension services. Atik is passionate about learning everything spa!

Random fact : She was the winner of the Best Employee of the Year in 2018.

SANTI

Santi was part of the pre-opening team for Glo Day Spa & Salon in early 2005. She is a natural care taker and is passionate about everything spa. She enjoys helping people relax during the manicure & pedicure so that the session isn’t just about looking good, but feeling good. Santi is particularly fond of performing spa pedicures. She has received numerous compliments for her therapeutic massage techniques. She is also a very confident and fast waxer and guests travel the island for her superior skills. When asked, what keeps her working for Glo for more than a decade she states very clearly it is because of the special Glo family vibe.

Random fact : You will find Santi in the kitchen on a day off or reading a recipe book – she’s a cooking enthusiast!

KOMING

Koming has been a Therapist with Glo since 2011. She is educated in a broad range of treatments including manicure & pedicure, waxing, spray tans, threading, lash lift & lash extension. She is an Advanced Certified Lash & Brow Stylist, specializing in both single-lash & volumation applications — creating thicker, longer, natural looking eyelash extensions. Her compassion for her clients, and her ability to educate them on ways to unwind their pain patterns, is the reason that clients continue to rebook and request services with Koming.

Random fact : She loves playing Balinese traditional music – the gamelan.
